It has been reported that 97% of people searched online to find a local business. I don't know about you but I know if I'm curious about a business the first thing I do is Google it. Creating a Google My Business page helps users find you with ease and get a glimpse of just what your business entails. Approximately 56% of local stores have yet to claim their local listing on Google. Don't be apart of this 56% and make your own Google page, It's free and controlling how your business is viewed online can help guide your audience in your direction.

Social Media Platforms

While social media can be a great way to jump start your online audience, not every form of social media will benefit your business. Find at the very least 3 platforms that are tailored to your type of business. Having exposure online can take some work, so simplify your work load by executing your business on key platforms that will help showcase what your company can provide customers. Sometimes it may be tricky to get people to leave reviews. But by emailing your customers with surveys or links to leave a Google review, it will increase your chances of getting some ratings online. Introducing your business to the online world can be difficult at first, but as long as you are concise about how you want your business to be viewed, the rest should follow.
